Tom Schmidt is Managing Partner and Founder.
Prior to founding ResumeFit, he was co-founder of NtechRA, Inc. in San Jose, CA. He has worked in early stage start ups as well as large enterprises such as US Robotics, Sun Microsystems, and 3COM managing customer service organizations. He graduated with an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Pierce College in Philadelphia, PA.
Pierce J. Howard, Ph.D., is
Chief Science Officer. Pierce received his Ph.D. degree
in education with a special interest in curriculum and
research in 1972 from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. For the last twenty-five years, he has
been an organizational psychologist. Since 1996, he has
taught both organization behavior and problem solving
for managers for the M.B.A. program at Pfeiffer University
in Charlotte. He also teaches in the University of North
Carolina-Charlotte certificate program in organization
development. Pierce is the author of The
Owner’s Manual for
the Brain: Everyday Applications from Mind-Brain Research.
He and his book were featured on “The Oprah Winfrey
Show” in May 1997.
Jane Mitchell Howard,
M.B.A., is Chief Operating
Officer. Jane received her M.B.A. degree with a concentration
in organization behavior in 1987 from the Babcock Graduate
School of Management at Wake Forest University. She is
co-author of The
Owner's Manual for Personality At Work. A member
of the Charlotte Area Chapter of the American Society
for Training and Development since 1982, Jane was president
of the chapter in 1989. Jane teaches in the University
of North Carolina-Charlotte certificate program in organization
development, and she has presented sessions for conferences
in the United States, Europe, Central America, and Asia.
Chris Sewell is
Chief Information Officer. Chris is a business manager
with a strong IT
project management
background. ResumeFit is one of several
products that Chris has brought to a worldwide market
through the Internet.
Chris has 20 years of software development work in capacities
from development, project management and product management
working with both start ups and Fortune 500 companies.
Educated in England, Chris has lived and worked in London,
California and now Charlotte, North Carolina, ResumeFit's
headquarters.
